Mr. Pecaro, a native Floridian, has held a real estate license, life and health insurance licenses, a pool contractor’s license, and was employed at Golf Digest Instructional Schools following his collegiate golf career. This varied real-world experience led to his career path as a trial lawyer who advocates for others.
His legal career began in 1989 with a law firm where he eventually would become a partner, Donahoe & Pecaro (1989-2001). It was in this firm where Mr. Pecaro advanced his trial skills. Between 1989 and 1999, he tried over 50 personal injury trials.
In 2001, he joined with James Robinson to form Robinson & Pecaro, which became Robinson Pecaro & Mier in 2012. Mr. Pecaro’s focus after almost 30 years of practice remains litigating and trying objective catastrophic damage cases.
A significant premise to the formation of Robinson & Pecaro was to give back to the community. Mr. Pecaro and Mr. Robinson created the Rope Foundation contemporaneously with the formation of the firm. The Rope Foundation provides financial assistance to numerous local and international charities on a yearly basis. Mr. Pecaro also volunteered for the Guardian Ad Litem program in the 1990s in Broward County.
