His academic journey includes graduating with first-class honors in law from the University of the West Indies (2006) and obtaining an LLM in Human Rights Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2010. His broad legal practice, combined with his solid educational background, highlights his versatility and depth in the field of law.
Harold’s professional journey extends beyond the courtroom. He has served as an Advisor to the Government of Jamaica, where he made significant contributions to public policy and governance. He is equally dedicated to community involvement, holding positions on the boards of various government entities and non-profit organizations.
His career has also seen him as an Associate at prestigious law firms in Jamaica, where he has provided expert legal counsel. Harold’s passion for legal education led him to serve as the Program Director of the Faculty of Law at the University of Technology, Jamaica, teaching subjects such as Human Rights Law, Administrative Law, and Public International Law. Beyond his legal pursuits, Harold is an avid reader, with a particular passion for international news and history. This passion informs his understanding of the ever-evolving legal landscape.
